    Features

The BB3 KM pump is a horizontal, axially split, volute-type pump featuring near-centerline mounting for heavy-duty oil and gas process services. Engineered with symmetrically arranged (opposed) impellers, the KM series naturally balances axial hydraulic thrust without complex balance disc or balance drum mechanisms, providing exceptional operational reliability when handling particulate-bearing or abrasive fluids. The suction and discharge nozzles are integrally cast in the lower casing half, enabling full rotor maintenance and inspection without disconnecting suction/discharge piping.
Fully compliant with API 682 shaft sealing specifications, the pump offers customizable seal flush piping plans to ensure zero-leakage containment of hazardous or volatile process fluids. To meet stringent net positive suction head requirements, the first-stage impeller can be configured in either single-suction or double-suction designs. The bearing configuration offers self-lubricating (rolling element or sleeve bearings) or forced pressure-lubrication systems based on shaft power and rotational speed, with standard clockwise rotation (viewed from the drive end) and optional counter-clockwise orientation upon request.
