Effective August 1, 2026, the mandatory national standard GB 6245-2025, Fire Pumps, officially came into force. The new standard sets higher requirements for the performance, structural design, materials, and manufacturing quality of fire pumps. Kaiquan has recently successfully completed certification under the new standard and obtained the updated CCCF certification, with the first batch covering 820 models. This makes Kaiquan one of the leading companies in the industry to complete comprehensive verification under the new national standard at an early stage.
· Horizontal split-case double-suction fire pump sets
· Vertical multistage fire pump sets
· Vertical single-stage fire pump sets
· Horizontal single-stage fire pump sets
These products meet the selection requirements for various fire water supply systems in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, industrial projects, and municipal facilities. With a large number of models certified in the first batch, Kaiquan provides a broad range of specifications for project design and procurement.
The certification involved comprehensive and rigorous testing conducted by the Tianjin Fire Science and Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Shanghai Fire Research Institute, followed by review and evaluation by the China Certification Center for Fire Products (CCCF). The testing covered key areas including hydraulic performance, structural design, materials and components, manufacturing quality, and product consistency, providing systematic verification of the products' technical performance and quality control capabilities.
GB 6245-2025 places greater emphasis on the operational reliability of fire pumps under actual working conditions and establishes comprehensive requirements covering R&D and product design, component selection, manufacturing processes, finished-product inspection, and quality traceability.
Kaiquan has incorporated the new standard throughout the entire product life cycle, carrying out a comprehensive review and optimization of design parameters, process documentation, inspection procedures, and quality management systems to ensure that its products consistently meet the latest regulatory requirements.
Following completion of the first batch of certifications, testing of prototypes for approximately 700 additional models in the second batch has also been completed. This will further expand and optimize Kaiquan's fire pump product portfolio to accommodate different flow rates, heads, and operating conditions.
Going forward, Kaiquan will continue to strengthen its fire pump product portfolio and provide stable, reliable products and services that comply with the new national standard, supporting the diverse needs of fire water supply projects.
