Key Operational Challenges

Operating a 350MW supercritical power generation unit continuously under full load introduces critical fluid handling requirements:

Extreme Thermal & Hydraulic Strain: Delivering boiler feed water at 178 °C with a 3,280m head and a high speed of 5,626 r/min demands severe thermal-structural stability, zero shaft vibration, and robust pressure containment.

Aggressive Slurry Corrosion & Abrasion: Contracted by Aerospace Environmental, the flue gas desulfurization (FGD) circuit requires 24/7 circulation of abrasive limestone-gypsum slurries without leakage, cavitation, or rapid impeller erosion.

Customized Kaiquan Engineering Solutions

Full-Capacity Double-Casing Boiler Feed Pump Packages

Inner/Outer Barrel Split Structure: Main feed pumps utilize a double-casing sectional cartridge design with separate inner and outer barrels to minimize thermal deformation and withstand extreme working pressures. The full pull-out cartridge structure allows rapid maintenance and reduces downtime.

Integrated Drive Configuration: Driven by a classical high-efficiency combination of a booster pump, gearbox, steam turbine, and steam-driven main feed pump.

Comprehensive Condition Monitoring: Equipped with minimum flow protection valves, precision suction strainers, and real-time sensors tracking temperature, pressure, vibration, and bearing conditions.

Advanced FGD Slurry & Desulfurization Pumping Systems

KQTL Main FGD Recirculation Pumps (8 Units): Engineered specifically for wet FGD limestone and gypsum slurry transfer, featuring broad flow ranges, high efficiency, and low energy consumption.

KDTX Auxiliary FGD Pumps (18 Units): Compact single-casing design tailored for auxiliary desulfurization duties, utilizing specialized wear- and corrosion-resistant metal alloys.

CFD Flow Optimization: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations were utilized to optimize internal hydraulic passages, reducing turbulence, lowering power loss, and extending component lifespan.
