Wuhan Shuihongkou Drainage Pumping Station | Large-Scale Urban Flood Control Project – Kaiquan

Located in the Hannan District of Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, the Shuihongkou Drainage Pumping Station was developed to address insufficient drainage capacity in the surrounding industrial area. Due to the low-lying terrain, heavy rainfall frequently caused waterlogging around factory entrances and affected nearby farmland, creating challenges for industrial operations and regional flood control.

For this major drainage project, Kaiquan supplied 6 high-capacity submersible mixed-flow pumps, each with a rated power of 900 kW. With a combined design flow rate of 35 m³/s, the pumping system provides powerful drainage capacity during periods of intense rainfall.
