Features

The Component Cooling Water Pump is an indispensable safety-critical component engineered for the Component Cooling Water System (RRI System) in Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants. Its primary function is to circulate component cooling water under normal plant operation, reactor shutdown, and various emergency accident conditions to continuously cool safety-related equipment across the nuclear island, including nuclear auxiliary systems and engineered safety features (ESF).

The pump assembly has successfully completed comprehensive qualification testing, including hydraulic performance testing, long-term endurance testing, and seismic qualification testing. Demonstrating Class 1E nuclear safety compliance, robust thermal-hydraulic stability, and long-term operating integrity, the RRI CCW Pump reaches an advanced international benchmark for world-class nuclear power plant safety cooling pumps.
