Features

The HHSI High-Pressure Safety Injection Pump is a vital emergency core cooling component engineered for the High-Pressure Safety Injection System (HPIS) in 300MW Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants. Serving as the primary high-pressure safety injection pump, its main function is to inject borated water under high pressure into the reactor primary system, preventing core uncovery during a Loss-of-Coolant Accident (LOCA).

The pump assembly has successfully completed rigorous nuclear qualification testing, including hydraulic performance testing, long-term endurance testing, high-temperature thermal resistance testing, loss-of-cooling-water survival testing, and seismic qualification testing. Demonstrating nuclear Class 1E reliability and supreme operational integrity under extreme thermal and mechanical shocks, the HGA75-8 reaches an advanced international level among benchmark nuclear power plant safety pumps.
