Features

The MHSI Medium-Pressure Safety Injection Pump is an essential safety-critical equipment engineered for the Safety Injection System (RSI / RIS) of 1000MW-class advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants. Operating as a primary emergency safety injection pump, its main function is to deliver high-flow emergency coolant into the reactor cooling system to prevent reactor core uncovery during a Loss-of-Coolant Accident (LOCA).

The pump assembly has successfully completed comprehensive nuclear qualification testing, including hydraulic performance testing, long-term endurance testing, high-temperature thermal resistance testing, loss-of-cooling-water survival testing, reduced-voltage start testing, and seismic qualification testing. Demonstrating nuclear Class 1E safety compliance and exceptional structural durability, the MHSI10-7 reaches an advanced international benchmark for modern high-capacity nuclear power generation safety pumps.
