It is used to pump gas that is insoluble in water and does not contain solid particles, so as to form a vacuum in the pumped system. In the process of operation, the gas suction is isothermal, and there is no friction metal surface inside the pump, so it is very suitable for pumping inflammable, explosive or decomposed gas in case of temperature rise.

The impeller and the pump body are eccentrically arranged, both ends are sealed by a distributor, and a proper amount of liquid is injected into the pump. When the impeller rotates, a rotating liquid ring with a thickness close to the same is formed along the inner wall of the pump. The inner surface of the liquid ring, the surface of the impeller hub and the end face of the distributor form a crescent shaped working cavity, which is divided into several cavities of different sizes by the impeller blades. When the impeller rotates, the volume of the small cavity on the suction side expands gradually, the pressure in the cavity decreases, the cavity inhales from the outer boundary through the suction hole, and the cavity rotates to the exhaust side gradually, the volume of the cavity decreases gradually, and the gas is compressed When the atmospheric pressure is reached, the gas is discharged through the discharge port, thus completing the three working stages of suction, compression and exhaust. During operation, a part of working liquid will be discharged with gas, so a certain amount of fresh working liquid shall be continuously injected into the pump.
